An interview with Kiyoung Kim, CEO of Shoplive, who generated $1.05M in sales in just 30 minutes of a live broadcast. It covers the growth story of Shoplive, a global video-commerce SaaS built by alumni of Google, Meta, and Naver that has won over IKEA, eBay, and QVC.

Shoplive Korea is the Korean entity of Shoplive, founded by Kiyoung Kim in 2021. Beyond Korea, Shoplive is a live-broadcasting service used in more than 20 countries around the world, including the United States and Japan. More than 200 clients use Shoplive’s services, including IKEA, LG, Samsung, Bandai—the Japanese company that makes models and toys such as ‘Gundam’—and the Japanese subsidiary of QVC, the global home-shopping company. The ‘live auctions’ of both eBay’s U.S. headquarters and eBay UK are also run entirely on Shoplive. About 40% of its revenue is generated overseas.
