Shoplive, a global video commerce solution company led by CEO Kiyoung Kim, announced on the 3rd that it will host its first insight seminar to help e-commerce businesses drive revenue growth.

The seminar, the first event in the Shoplive INSIGHTS series, will be held under the theme “Live and Short-Form Video: Video Commerce Strategies That Drive Sales.” It is designed for e-commerce businesses that are considering video commerce or looking for better ways to operate it.

Attendees will be able to hear video commerce trends, practical insights, and advertising strategies from Shoplive as a solution provider, fashion platform 29CM, and D2C brand R2W in one place.

A key feature of the seminar is that it will be hosted through Shoplive’s own live commerce solution. By combining industry insights with a hands-on product experience, the seminar offers a differentiated format. Attendees will be able to watch the seminar online while participating in quizzes, surveys, and real-time Q&A sessions, experiencing various Shoplive features firsthand.

The seminar will consist of four sessions.

In the first session, Kiyoung Kim, CEO of Shoplive, will present global trends and the outlook for the domestic video commerce market under the theme “Video Commerce: A Turning Point for Commerce Growth.” He will also introduce Shoplive’s latest features and product roadmap.

In the second session, Yeonhee Lim, Content Manager at Musinsa, will share how fashion platform 29CM uses video commerce.

The third session will feature Siyoung Kim, CEO of contemporary women’s brand R2W, who will present the brand’s formula for successful D2C live commerce.

In the final session, Sungjin Kim, Head of Business Development Korea at Shoplive, will introduce the industry’s first live commerce targeted advertising product, along with real success cases. He will also share targeted advertising strategies that can help brands reduce ad costs while increasing sales.

Shoplive’s first seminar will be streamed live online at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, September 17. Participants can join for free by registering in advance on the Shoplive event page at events.shoplivecorp.com by midnight on Sunday, September 14, after which they will receive an individual access link.

Special benefits will also be available for seminar participants. Customers who attend the seminar and wish to use the service will receive one free Target Ads live advertising placement worth KRW 500,000. Participants in real-time events during the seminar and respondents to the post-event survey will also be entered into a prize draw for rewards such as Naver Pay points and department store gift certificates.

Details on the event benefits and registration process are available on the seminar registration page.

“Video commerce is no longer a question of whether to adopt it. It is now time to think about how to use it effectively,” said Kiyoung Kim, CEO of Shoplive. “For companies thinking about the future of marketing efficiency, video commerce can be a powerful answer.”

“We hope this seminar will be an opportunity for attendees to hear directly from companies that have already found success with live and short-form video, and to discover practical strategies that fit their own businesses,” he added. “We look forward to welcoming platform operators, D2C brands, SMB shopping malls, and other industry professionals who want to make better use of video commerce.”

Meanwhile, the global video commerce market is projected to grow from approximately USD 917.4 billion in 2024 to USD 14.4018 trillion by 2034, with a compound annual growth rate of 31.7%. The domestic live commerce market in Korea is also expected to grow from approximately USD 678.2 million in 2024 to USD 4.1463 billion by 2030, with a compound annual growth rate of 36%.
