Shoplive has held its first insight seminar for e-commerce businesses seeking sales growth, "Live and Short-Form: Video Commerce Strategies That Drive Sales." Shoplive, 29CM, and R2W shared video commerce trends and hands-on advertising strategies in an online live broadcast.

Shoplive, a global video commerce solution company led by CEO Kiyoung Kim, announced on the 3rd that it will host its first insight seminar to help e-commerce businesses drive sales growth. As the first event in the Shoplive INSIGHTS series, this seminar, themed "Live and Short-Form: Video Commerce Strategies That Drive Sales," is aimed at any e-commerce business that is hesitant to start video commerce or looking for better ways to run it. Attendees can hear video commerce trends, hands-on insights, and advertising strategies all in one place from solution provider Shoplive, platform 29CM, and D2C brand R2W.

A distinctive feature of this seminar is that it runs on Shoplive's own live solution. It stands out as a format that combines industry insights with a hands-on product experience. Attendees can watch the seminar via online live stream while taking part in quiz and survey events and real-time Q&A, experiencing various features of the Shoplive solution firsthand.

The seminar consists of four sessions in total. In the first session, Shoplive CEO Kiyoung Kim presents global trends and the outlook for Korea's video commerce market under the theme "Video Commerce: A Turning Point for Commerce Growth," and personally introduces Shoplive's new features and roadmap. In the second session, Yeonhee Lim, Content Manager at Musinsa, shares how the fashion platform 29CM uses video commerce. The third session features Siyoung Kim, CEO of contemporary women's brand R2W, presenting the formula for successful D2C live commerce, and in the final session, Sungjin Kim, Head of Business Development Korea at Shoplive, introduces the industry's first live targeted advertising product alongside real success cases, presenting targeted advertising strategies that reduce ad spend while boosting sales.

Overview of the four sessions of the Shoplive Insight Seminar

Shoplive's first seminar will be broadcast live online at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, September 17. You can attend for free by completing advance registration on the Shoplive event page (events.shoplivecorp.com) by midnight on Sunday, September 14, after which you will receive an individual access link.

Benefits are also available for seminar participants. Attendees who wish to use the service will receive one free Target Ads live advertising placement worth about $330, and participants in real-time events during the seminar, as well as respondents to the post-event survey, will be entered into a drawing for generous prizes such as Naver Pay points and department store gift certificates. Details on the event and how to apply can be found on the seminar registration page.

"Video commerce is no longer a question of whether to adopt it; it is now time to explore how to use it effectively. If you are thinking about your future marketing efficiency, you will find the answer in video commerce," said Shoplive CEO Kiyoung Kim. "We hope this seminar will be an opportunity to hear firsthand experiences from companies that started early with live and short-form video and succeeded, and to find execution strategies that fit each business. We look forward to broad participation from across the industry, including platforms, D2C brands, SMB online stores, and others who want to make the most of video commerce."

Meanwhile, the global video commerce market is projected to grow from about $917.4 billion in 2024 to roughly $14.4018 trillion by 2034, at a compound annual growth rate of 31.7%.
